If you delete the resonator aswell you can here them suck quite hard and the turbo spool up. If you were also to run dumpvalve less you get a relly nice flutter noise on lift off.

It doesn't change as such, it gets louder as the standard induction tract acts a bit like a silencer. Remove the silencing you get more noise.

As above if you delete parts of the standard induction pipe you're removing the silencing. However, deleting the resonator on MAF-based cars can affect the airflow measurement accuracy a little so the extra noise can come at a price.

If you were also to run dumpvalve less you get a relly nice flutter noise on lift off.
...until your turbo or engine gets killed, if you're unlucky.

No. As Burbling says you remove the dumpvalve, but the noise you get as a result, on a standard-ish car is not "the same as the old WRC cars (it's feeble and infrequent), and there are potential reliability/damage issues.

There's loads written about this so if you want to know more the best way to find out is to click Search and type "chatter" into the box.
