302 bhp has it been remapped
Hi as title says I have a version 5 sti which I have had for a couple of weeks in with car documents is a rolling road printout saying 302bhp so has my ecu been remapped it has an air filter and stainless exhaust how could i tell if it has been remapped

Be aware that version 5s off the boat from Japan want to run on 100RON fuel which we don't have over here and are prone to engine damage from detonation if used in anger on lower grade fuel.
Even if the car has been mapped, it will have mostly likely have been mapped for V power or Tesco 99RON. I would use VPower if I were you and get the car to an Ecutek mapper to see if the std ECU has been interrogated.
I wouldn't read too much into the RR print out, it may be a bit on the *ahem* generous side (there are SOOOO many variables that can affect this) or you may have just got a good un; they are 280bhp as std, thow in some cold ambient temps and hey presto! Get a mapper to look at it. Lots of good uns on here!
