Much of a problem?

Do you know how much it would cost to fix?

The bad news is that this has probably been caused by a poorly executed windscreen replacement. As such you're probably going to find more of it hiding in other places under the trims. Need to get it to a couple of good local bodyshops for a bit more detailed exam and quotes. Impossible to talk prices without knowing the extent of it - and whether it's a screen out job (it almost certainly is if you want it done properly).

Once it has started to rust, it pretty much always will come back in the same place.

I had the same problem as this about 4 years ago, cost £250 at the body shop to fix and it hasn't come back yet.

That's good to know. Thanks. I'll factor that into my bartering if everything else is ok.
