subaru impreza wrx sti on eBay (end time 07-Mar-10 16:07:50 GMT)
£1200 STi. Looks tatty, but i'm guessing could spruce up and at that price i'd have money left to tinker.

Its a banger: the only potential is to disappoint.
If its an STI I will eat my Arai. I have a new bottle of Henderson's Relish at the ready, but I dont think I will be needing it.
