After a recent trackday I've got pretty bad score marks on both front discs. This happened during the very first session. The car is a MY96 with standard 2 pot brakes and had the front discs and pads changed only 6k miles ago. My brake pedal now feels even softer than before but under pressure the car still stops fine - it's just a tad disconcerting !

Any ideas on how this happened ?? Also am I due any recompense from Subaru for 'dodgy' discs ?
Even though the brakes were under strain surely they're supposed to stand up to the equivalent of 6 or 7 emergency stops from 100mph.

Neil.

ps. Yep, I know I need better brakes for trackdays but I've only been on two with no further days planned. I'm also keeping an eye open for discarded 4 pots in the 'Private' section.
