Question 52 Plate V6 Type-R STi?????

Just seen this on Pistonheads and i never knew could register an MY00 car as an 52 plate if so would'nt that put the car into the £400+ tax bracket????

Noticed it has no STi rear lights and STi badges on the wings

DVLA are known to make mistakes like that now and again. Was most likey registered in 02 and given an 02 plate by mistake. Not sure about it being a v6 tho. Rear lights, interior are not correct.

Cheers

The import documentation should have the date of build and thats what they would go off, probably more of a dodgy importer than anything else, dvla do make mistakes but not that badly lol

It also had (by the sounds of it) its last service early last year so not kept to the schedule then

It must heve been registered late 2002 to be on 52 plate ... perhaps it sat around un-registered until then? It's a classic so shouldn't be on a 52 plate unless above happened.

Nice car. I would be interested.

Then again?
Everyone on Scoobynet, has pristine. As you would like, motors????

Feckme! I have a '98 plate Rev 3 MR2 Turbo. What is that all about?

Used to have an Apillia Motorcycle that was DVLA aprooved as a Harley Davidson and then when enquired. A Massey Fergussen???

Don't matter. It is the quality of car that counts surely(Shirley?).

I emailed askin a fair few questions, but no reply. Would be a good buy if it's all good. Looks abit fishy when he can't be arsed to answer question, and when he does in your case there the wrong answer.

Also asked him why it appeared to have earlier seats and he said v4 and v6 seats are the same.. so that sorted that out too
