when you say 'set of 4' do you mean 4 pads or 4 pairs? As you should always replace the pads on both sides of the axle.
If the discs appear to have quite a lip on them, or seem quite worn/grooved across the face of the disc then its deffo an idea to replace the discs at the same time, bearing in mind that if you find out you need new discs in say 6 months time, then your going to have to replace the pads again, costing you more in the long run. If your unsure quickly pop into a garage and ask them for their opinion on whether the discs will last another run, or whether its worth changing them with the pads.

only want front pair for front wheels, also what does FRP3054H mean on the pads, as i have found some on web but they are FRP216H. would these fit my callipers.
the only ones i can find that are the same as my old ones (FRP3054H) are around £225.00 is this the norm price? as this seems alot for pads.
