hawkeye specs
Evening all, a couple of my friends are both possibly after hawkeyes in the near future. They've both said that they want STI's as they think that they are the fastest. I've told them that with Subarus its not that simple as there's loads of differernt editions of each shape. Unfortunately my knowledge on the subject is limited, i know they do wrx, sti, spec-d, spec-c, rb320 but i dont know what order these go in as far as power/ spec is concerned and if there is more that i've missed. Can anyone give me a brief rundown or even a link so i can pass it onto my mates ?
Thanks Jay
Thanks Jay

Just pretty much reverse them in the order you've wrote them for power.
I wouldn't pay the premium for the RB, i'd go straight for the Spec-C, but it is more raw.

I've got a hawkeye sti type uk with ppp and it's just as quick as an rb320 tried and tested lol, however you get more kit on the rb but you pay nearly 5 grand more. Spec c is hardcore but a better drivers car. The money you will save buying a sti type uk instead of the other two you can spend on making it quicker. Awesome car

In a nut shell from your list....
WRX = A nice every day fast car with lowest insurance and servicing cost but not as strong as the STI (smaller turbo, wheels etc)
STI = Great base for anyone looking for a strong 4 wheel drive car, but a little in your face and harsh suspension.
Spec D = As above, same power but not as much in your face + leather.
RB320 = STI but with a Prodrive pack, trick suspension and a high quality interior (limited edition) but a little pricey.
Spec c = Light weight STI I think a little harsh for every day car, but can not comment as I have never been in one or driven one. Also I think there only Imports.
All in my opion tho

S204 was only available as a Hawkeye. It would sit either above or below the Spec C depending on what you are looking for. S204 is fully loaded but also has the performace to match so it's not a lightweight special like the Spec C. I'm pretty sure there would not be much between the 2 on track.

Not driven, but been in a Spec-C and it is a very nice car. There is also the Spec-C RA-R if you want the ultimate light-weight raw driving experience, but expect to pay a premium for it
