Number plates
We are an approved number plate maker and I can confirm that 3D is legal
As long as the numbers and letters are spaced correctly and the plate is displaying the I.D of the company that made it, then there is nothing the Police can do about it!

as above: 3D is legal - so long as the font ( Charles Wright IIRC) size and spacing are correct with a plain background (honeycomb background is no longer allowed)

Good question that....
We as a supplier of number plates would not legally be allowed to make it for you, however, if you could get hold of one & happened to have it fitted at the time of mot, the tester has autonomy in this case, the guide lines state that it must be fitted "as near vertical as possible" and "clearly readable from a distance", all the other rules about number plate letter size and style are obviously applicable.

How about the domed letters that stick on the outside of the plate !
