I need to get both cats for my subaru imprezza 2000. I bought the car yesterday and whilst I have until September to MOT it I want to get the Cat's fitted as it is stupid loud.

Does anyone know where I can get them from and how much I should be expecting to pay for them and fitting?

Rather than paying literally £100's for new cats, why not get a sports cat for the downpipe section of your exhaust (which will pass MOT but not be as restrictive as the standard one) and a resonated centre section/quieter backbox to reduce the noise.

That or you could maybe get a second hand standard Impreza downpipe with the cat in.

You can always pick up a both cats off ebay or pistonheads,etc for peanuts,or if the car is to loud,you can change the backbox for something like a prodrive item.
