Default HKS dumpvalve

My car came with it fitted, it doesn't really bother me as it isn't going off all the time, it only ever seems to go off when changing gear after accelerating hard (so at full boost), is this normal for HKS? I have however noticed sometimes on the motorway though that the car seems to jump a bit when backing off the power. is this likely to be a result of the Dump valve. I've read a bit about the Forge re-circulating dump valve, is that the way ahead?

Cheers.
Matt.
