Reduces the chasis twisting, it is a good mod to have and I do have one for sale! The only reason this is up for sale is due to having a STI8 intercooler fitted.

That will be £55 plus delivery! Your nearly there for a proper one! May even take £70 inc delivery if your nice to me!

Either way they are a good mod to have.

Personally, I've not noticed any difference after removing mine (to fit sti8 intercooler). I think that you 'may' notice it on a tract with sticky tyres, but on the road you shouldn't get that much chassis flex. Nice bling bling mod though.

Given all the rubber in the suspension, its doubtful you would notice anything.

Rubber in the suspension...aye.

But groupN top mounts, or pillow ball....that's a different story.

'aving said that, the Impreza does have very nicely placed strut towers, they are already stiffened by the direct connection to the firewall.
I think other cars, with the towers further toward the front of the car will benefit more from a strut brace.

AND, having said THAT, in the chase for better handling...you can never have too much stiffness.

Get it bought ;-)

The classic stock STi carbon strut brace does nothing of value other than looks great, it flexes a lot. If you are after a working strut brace fit a metal one. The Impreza is pretty good in terms of strut support, much better than something like a sierra cosworth.

Be Careful with the cheap ones. I put one on my hawkeye Spec D and there wasn't enough clearance from the I/C and made a terrible noise when accelerating hard I thought my turbo was on its way out
