Owning a classic and having 2 kids the car is adequate,but now the missus is wanting a 3rd,so im thinking ahead and a bit worried i might have to buy another car to house 3 kids

the classic has the middle lap belt but in todays standards,thats not safe nor can it hold a car seat,the eldest will be 8 if/when the missus has a kid,the other will be 6,so are in the bumper seats and normal seat belt use

so,can it be done,or is it new car time ?
can anything be welded in place to accomadate a 3rd/middle normal over the should seat belt ???

Classic Can it legally yes/safely? Them baby seats for new borns are massive, so will be tight to fit 1 of them plus to bumper seats.

You can buy 3 point belts to 'retro-fit' in the center

cheers,ive found this but not sure if it will fit the classic,i dont mind cutting the rear part of the seat to get the belt to go thru etc
