Default Brake disc run out!

hi what would be the maximum run out on a front disc on a 2000 turbo before you would feel slight pedal/steering wheel vibration?

thanks

You will feal it through your brake pedal if your discs are warped.Does it do it all the time or just when braking.

You could of warped them from hard driving.I cant see moving the disc round 1 hole would do anything. Were the disc mounts to the hub has to be clean when your re fitting discs or them or replacing them or this can warp the discs.

You need to check out the pistons are free to move and not sticking or seized in the calipers , we see a lot of subaru 4 pots here for reconditioning with this problem , this is the cause of most warped discs

i jacked the car up and the wheels are free so i dont think the brakes are binding! i read about run out and was mentiond if its out a bit to turn disc one hole?(i didnt really see point either)
thought about fitting old discs and seeing if it made a differance but i threw them out! typical!

It doesn't need the calipers to be totally seized to overheat a disc , a dragging piston is enough to overheat and warp a disc.

We see a lot of calipers every month in need of reconditioning

I have seen were 1 pot sizes then stayes in same position and then brakes go free again as it weares pad down. You can get new brake pistons and seal kits from main dealer there not hard to fit if this is your problem.
