Newage STI Windscreen Washer problem
Hi, I have a 03 Blobeye STI and was just wandering if anyone else is having the same problem.
Basicaly my windscreen washers aren't very powerfull. When I'm static or going relatively slow (30mph) then the washers are ok but as soon as I start going at faster speeds theres not enough power in the jets so they just squirt onto the bottom of the windscreen. If I try and adjust the nozzles so that the water squirts onto the centre of the screen at higher speeds it then squirts over the roof at slower speeds!
Like I said their isn't enough power in the jets. Does anyone else have this problem or does anyone know of a solution?

If not hoses and pump then check the nozzles.Mine needed cleaning out. 4-5 years of wax etc. Popped off the hoses, took off the bonnet, and put them in a mug of hot water - got wax out. Also then left them in some vinegar in a cup - cleaned out the scale. Work ok now.

Had this problem with my dad's Primera just this week there....turns out that the screenwash for some reason had turned into a gooey gel-like substance and had blocked the jets and the pump
Dont know whether i had mixed different screenwash over time and they had reacted or what, but it took some cleaning out!!
Maybe worth a look
