.....if anyone has a sumpguard and / or diff guard can they let me know where they got it from.......also any fitting hassles......I know that some P1's have had airbag sensor trouble after fitting.........BTW its for an MY97 UK Wagon Turbo.......fao Moderators if this should be in technical just fire it over there cheers......

My MY96UK wagon has a plastic engine tray which sort of protects the sump which was on as standard.. my previous MY96UK didn't have one...could get one of these from Subaru.

Interested to know about the guards like you are.. I think Subaru do them...just I suspect the cost an arm and a leg..

......taz I'm on about the steel ones / Maguard ones from Group a/n rally cars......I've got a spare one for my Mk2 Escort rally car(shed) but it wont fit even with modified brackets......I've seen some with lazer etched Impreza logos .....maybe dealer supplied??......as I'm not getting home til the weekend I cant find out.....

My Sti RA has a metal one fitted, but obviously as an option by previous Japanese owner, as instructions for fitting it were with other bits in the boot. Must be an official Subaru part then.

I've got one on my MY99 which apparently is Dural (?) alloy from a rally car. I've run it for 30k miles - no problems with airbags etc. Bought it second hand so don't know where to get one though.
