Default Vredestein Sessanta???

Anyone have experience of these tyres,I currently use Pilot PS2's but have been told the Sessantas are nearly as good for alot less.
Can anyone shed some light on this.

TIA

Ive been running the sessanta on my Spec C for over a year now and they are probably the best value tyre on the market in terms of cost and performance. They are as good if not better than the goodyear F1 Assymetrics but cost much less. They perform well in all conditions and i would recommend them to anyone

Have heard nothing but good things about them, and gone through hours of tyre reviews and they score very well.
Will be buying some in next few weeks.

Had a set fitted yesterday (225 40 18, £96 a corner all in), early days yet but they already feel miles better than the P Zero Nero's they replaced.

Used to have the Ultracs on my old scoob, they were fantastic rubber. Going back to them once I've worn the Yoko's out.

Word of warning, they seem to require higher tyre pressures.

Also read on some tyre reviews that the first 50 miles can be slippery.
Once there bedded in,there awsome....

That's the same for most if not all tyres as you scrub the **** off the surface

i have been led to believe that these are the best all round alternative to re070 potenzas and eagle F1s. they are better in the wet than re070s, and warm quicker than Eagle F1s. (so i have heard), highly rated though regardless.

I can tell you that they most definately do not warm quicker than the F1's.
But they outperform the F1's easily.

I think the higher tyre pressures is a myth?
OK - yes their site suggests a higher pressure, but the place that fitted mine put them at 34psi if I remember correctly.

Totally agree with Simon. Best tyres i've had on the scoob. Great in the dry and very very good in the wet. Went for 235s. 40 PSI Front & 38 Rear. (Sounds high but the Vredestein website recomends even higher)

Wish I'd have read this before I purchased a set of Yokohama Parada's. Although I cannot fault the Yokos so far I find them very very grippy. Can the Vreds really be that much of a an improvement?
