Car is now a year old and has Lacro Diamondbrite applied.
Several stone chips (bonnet, grille extensions)down to white material plus the odd light scratch on the side from car doors etc.
Can these be polished out / "touched up" or what????
Should I use a company eg Dentmaster or should I save the cash and do it myself?
Are there any polishes you should apply over Lacro or doesn't it matter?
Lots of questions, I know, but I want to get it right!
Cheers,
Lenny.

With regard to the scratch take it back to the suppling dealer or to the Lacro Diamondbrite dealer to sort out and your warranty will stay in place. Do it yourself and you screw their so called warranty into the bin.
Re the chips have them repainted and then get the Armourfended.

The bad news is that they can't be polished out or touched up.
The good news is that it is, or at least was, possible to get Subaru UK to foot the bill for a respray, provided you've got a co-operative dealer and are prepared to make a bit of a fuss.
It's a well known fact amongst owners, that DBM scratches and chips very easily - too easily for a premium finish on a £23000 car IMHO. I pointed this out to my dealer and to Subaru UK, who eventually agreed that the level of damage my car had sustained was unreasonable for its age and mileage, and paid for almost half the car to be resprayed.
It looks great now!
Andy.
