Default Which ECU for my V3 Sti

Hi, been thinking it about time to get my car mapped, but not sure which ECU to go for.
I was considering the Simtek, as you can throw the MAF in the bin. Also have launch control and anti-lag. Also I believe the active knock correction update has been released, please correct me if i'm wrong

Or the Apexi, dont really know too much about this one. Is this still avaliable new??

Any pros and cons with either of them??
Or any other sugestions??

Thanks in advance

James

Speak to www.jollygreenmonster.co.uk as he deals with all (or nearly all) ecus avaliable for Imprezas,he is on here as Jolly Green Monster and you van do a search on here to see what people think off him.

I've got a Simtek on my V4 Type R and apart from an irritating cold start problem i'm happy with it (especially as it was already on the car and didn't have to pay for it ).

The Apexi although decent enough is quite old now ,not sure you can get them new.

Apexi is no longer availabel new unless you find a supplier with old stock.. and then you do pay lots for it.

I do happen to have a secondhand unit at the moment but the SimTek functionality out ways it anyway.

2maps, mafless, options of antilag, launch control, more powerful processor and higher definition maps etc.. and with knock control about to be added.
