Default 97 wrx import - mapping

hi guys, i keep posting on here with just about the same question but i still no really gettin any answers

i have a 97 wrx import version 4, mods are ; vf22 turbo, full decat, walbro !! obviously cannot get this ecu mapped so need a replacement

ive spoke to JGM and SCOOBYCLINIC and they were very helpful, but im still undecided, what is anyone else using ? prices ? bhp ? HELP ????????

Apexi power fc is probably the cheapest option and a very good ecu.

They are usually a few in the forsale section on this forum, otherwise most subaru specialists will sell them, I would personally talk to Jollygreenmonster on here (send him a pm) He is highly recommended in supplying, fitting and mapping them.

I have an Apexi on my car running 440 bhp with no problems

Makensure you get the correct ecu for the year of your car, as there are different versions of the ecu's

JGM can do you a simtec ECU you should get around 300BHP...

If your buying brand new, you should go for the simtek as it costs the same as an apexi. using the simtek you get 2 maps instead of one, and you can do away with your maf as its not needed with the simtek.....

same as f4la k, i have a simtek in mine at 360bhp, you get two maps which is easy to switch between them great value for money plus anti lag and lauch control too.

as lewak says anti lag and launch control buy it for me, just saving up to get it fitted and mapped to mine.
