Hawkeye radio surround - removal
Can anyone tell me how to remove the 'radio surround' on a hawkeye please?
Just need to get the bit that is below the air vents and above the ashtray/pocket off.
Basically the panel that surrounds the radio with the dials on it.

Take gear stick surround off, just pulls off. There are 2 screws at bottom of radio surround remove these, there are 2 clips that hold the top part of the surround, you'll need to use a thin knife to lever the SIDE'S at the top of the radio surround, just under the vents. The vents can't be removed without removing the radio surround, it's held in with 3 screws.

Cheers guys. I'll give that a go.
Kinni is that a hawkeye? Or are the clips in the same place?
What a load of hassle just get get the serial number of my stereo.
Oh well, at least it means the stereo is more secure than the ones with removal pins.

It's not a Hawkeye in the pics but I've had both Blobeye and now Hawkeye and removed the stereo's on both and I'm 99.9% certain the clips are in the same places, I think it's the same fascia, cage and headunit they used between the models.
