Unhappy Where to get replacement hose for foot pump???

It's driving me potty! - I bought a brilliant Michelin double barrel foot pump - but the hose keeps failing! I cut off the perished bit and it works a bit longer - but now it's down to about 1 foot of hose! Aaaggghhhh!

I bought a cheapo Tesco one as I was so frustrated with it but the piston rod got bent after not too long - So I swapped the hose over to the Michelin - but it soon started having problems too

So anyone know where I can get a good quality replacement hose to make my foot pump work again? Pleeeease...

Thanks

Contact Page On Michelin Wbsite

I bought one of these too some time back - not the worst pump I've ever had, but it certainly appears to look better than it performs.

From the feedback on Amazon - it would appear to be a common fault so I'd push for free replacement under sale of goods act. See here so looks like I have this to look forward to.

Most garages will have a collection of different size hoses mostly used for fuel pipes.

Take the pump into one of these and ask them to pop on a metre of hose for you.

Well that's ironic.

I used mine today and the welds attaching the pedal-bar to both of the barrels failed.

I checked back on my purchase date.... 26-Jan-09. 12 month warranty.

Have contacted seller anyway... 3 days out of warranty on a footpump.

edit: If they won't do anything for me I'll send you my hose Mick.

LOL - nice thought

Couldn't find anywhere selling hose

I found an ebay seller that was selling bundles of 3 hoses and valve connectors ~ £7.50 inc P&P - the valve connectors were naff - but I reused the michelin connector with a new hose and 'jobs-a-goodun' LOL

I'd forgotten all about this thread.

Supplier replaced my pump no quibble. Despite it being 4days or so outside of warranty.

They wanted pics of the failed unit, but didn't insist on its return - so I guess I have a couple of spares now.
