+1 for warped discs, or a bit of rust lodged behind the disc causing it not to sit true

Does it start off mild and then get worse as the brakes heat up. If so defo warped discs.

Another one for warped discs. When you say 'randomly', does that mean that you cannot replicate the symptons? Is it only above a certain speed?

Get the car up to speed, say 50mph making sure there nobody behind you. Then progressively press the brake pedal and throttle at the same time. Could be where the road salt has accumulated on the disc over the recent few weeks. Do this for 10 seconds or so. If the vibration gets worse, warped discs fella, or a sticky calliper piston.
Had a similar problem on my wifes 107. Did the above and it cleared it.

If yhey were fine before the snow then might not be warped, just get up to speed and do some aggressive braking to clear off any rust and salts and see how they feel them

i have a similar problem and its a buckled alloy thats causing it. When my calipers were warped the cause a similar feeling of pulsing on the pedal as it did it.
