Default Anyone changed 09 STi seats for 330s seats?

Could not believe what I read when I received a reply from my dealer regarding the cost to upgrade to 330s Recaros.

£14,000! I did query, but was assured that this is the fitted price!

Anyone have any ideas or fancy a swap..?

Cheers!

eh? how the **** would it be 14K, that's half the cost of a new hatch. Must be a typo or the person you spoke to is a moron. It's obviously 1400 notes.

14K!
I have been thinking about changing the seats and doing it at the next service.
I will let you know the price I get quoted.

Yes, I kid you not, £14,000 was the quote – confirmed by email. Sorry, although grateful for the offers of £13,000 etc I will need to decline I’m afraid!

I would be interested in the details of any dealer who is quoting £2,000, although even this seems a little pricey to me! Rob 84 - any more details?

The dealer is long established and I did query the price and there is no mistake. I understand that the seats are supplied in various sub parts such as base, back, covers etc.

When I got my car they were a €5000 option, but they threw in a set of 18" wheels, Sat Nav, Fog Lights, Tinted Windows and Keyless entry with start button for free!!!

They are airbag seats, so I can imagine they're not exactly cheap as far as seats go, but £14K is just taking the p1ss! You could probably trade in your car for a 330S for less than that!

Subaru Quoted a little while back that they were in negotiation with Recaro to make some seats for the hatch to buy from the accesory brochure, there wasnt a time scale given or a price at the time. Intresting enough I was offered a set of sti recaros for £2000
