welcome mate. Well you have a few good bits there that you would get good money for but i dont see why it would be easyer to break it if its a good car in good condition. Seems a shame if it is.

I would hang on for a cash buyer if it was mine. May take a few mths to shift but pulling it too bits would take time aswell, you will shift your good parts prety fast but then you will be left pulling in little bits of cash for small parts like trim and stuff. Have you thought about maybe putting your good aftermarket parts for px for standard parts, that way you get some money back for them and still have a full car to sell at the end?

Stick a pic up of it if you have one? Im guessing its a bugeye as you say thats what the lights are? Is it uk? what year etc? Its not that easy to sell cars at the moment unless they are a real bargin so you my have to hold out for a while, all depends how fast you want to sell mate. Why are you selling up if you dont mind me asking?

Escort cosworth, nice, good money aswell. Well just had a quick look on ebay and seems maybe your 6k isnt out of the question. Yep there are some on there slightly cheaper but they eaither quite high millage or just not that nice, then when you get close to 7k you can start to pick up the sti ones. If yours is as nice as you say tho mate and you find the right buyer then i think you may get it. Here is a nice one i picked out which is around the same money.
