Advice please for a first time scooby owner
Right then, i'm about to take over the owenership of the old mans Turbo 2000.
Just a couple of questions for the experianced guys on here
1. Insurance - 25yo, 4yncb, 7 cd10 points and a £3.5k claim, who's the best to go with. Will I actually get insured on this for less than £1k??
2. Mods - 2000 V reg Turbo 2000 Wagon, complete Ninja Exhaust system, 200 cell cat and a forge dump valve (going back to the standard recirc!)
3. Interior parts, best place to get these from, requires a head lining BUT it's got a sunroof, been lead to believe this was a rarely chosen optional extra, a door card and preferably two new front seat.
Cheers folks.

Try keith micheals as above and plenty of em being broke so check out the sale section maybe some nice sti seats would set it off - might have to get a bit creative with your roof unless you have a good autotrimmer who could redo it for you ?

Hope it's not down hill lol
Only thing bothering me is just how bad is the MPG, i'm used to a 180bhp deisel and still managing 45mpg and upto 69mpg on the motor way lol
Wanna get a scooby whilst i'm young and can still afford it.

good advice tbh. scoobys on a daty to day basis are costly to run, but the smile you get makes it worthwhile. if you could manage to keep the tree hugging diesel then the money you would save in fuel each month would go quite a way towards helping pay for the planet destroying scooby. all good fun though
