Default SIMPLE MODS

I am thinking of getting a green panel are filter and a Ninja decat downpipe. Are these items any good or is ther a better choice out there?
The car is a 02 STI Remapped, uprated fuel pump, and stainless cat-back exhaust.

Cheers.

Nothing wrong with those bits mate, May need a map tweak after fitting the decat down pipe.

Was mapped with a decat before i bought the car but the garage removed it to pass the mot and didn,t put it back on. Been running fine though. Are the downpipes ok that are advertised online for 125 pounds.

you will require another remap mate if you fit a decat downpipe, over boost..and fuel issues can both be a problem when decatting..plus maximum gains are made with remapping aswell as ensuring the safety of you engine

Seems to run alright. Was running at 340 BHP with decat downpipe should be running around the 300 mark without it. Had no obvious problems that i am aware of. Would like to put a decat downpipe back on. Can a remap reset to run at 300BHP and if so will it be alright to put the decat back on. The Ninja is priced at 250 ish but i have seen cheaper ones for around £125. Will fitting a green panel filter casue any mapping problems. The remap was done by JGM.

Cheers

im sure simon (jgm) will advise you on if you will need a map,but as long as the downpipe fits ok,cheap ones will do the same job as dearer ones as far as im aware.

unless you get the exact same downpipe it would need checking and maybe tweaking..
