exhaust question (vortex)
hi all, got the chance to fit my afterburner vortex today but i have a question for you newage owners with the same backbox...
i ordered it from scoobyworld and obviously i ordered the 'newage fitment'....but when i came to fit i..i couldnt use the middle hanger...if i hooked it on then the line up was a mile out with the centre section..so i had to fit it without the middle hanger on.... is this right? or have they sent me a 'classic fitment' one
cheers

Is it possible you have been provided with an angled backbox ?? If this is the case it won't fit due to the rear splitter on the Hawkeye STI.
Otherwise not able to help much I'm afraid........

It should use all 3 hangers, i'd say they've sent you the classic fit one mate. As you know i have the classic fit one on my car with no issues, but you have paid for the right one so would expect the right one.

I can't see H&S making them without the correct hanger placing for Newage's Could be wrong but i would think people wouldn't be happy buying them if they looked to be not fitting properly. It would look unproffesional IMO
