Default Scooby hatchback rear bumper removal

Hi guys I want to remove the rear bumper of my impreza to install parking dynamic parking sensors does anybody have any tips or directions on how to do this any help would be great.

Hope your not drilling hols? I have the hole less reverse sensor type on my 2006, had it on a few cars now for 4 - 5 years and its fab.

Not drilling holes putting the electromagnetic one in mate couldn't bring myself to drillin holes

lol good man, i use the foil tape one, like a doplar radar. Had it on loads of cars

subaru used to use the tape but it's awful and it picks up everything, they do a proper kit and in it you get a template that tells you where to drill the holes and even a cutter to drill them with thats the correct size. it's a lot better than the tape and you can even paint them as well.
i done so many warranty claims for the tape type it wasn't funny and subaru eventually fitted the 4 sensors when the tape went wrong for free.

I have read good reviews about the Parking Dynamic sensors so hopefully they dont act up

I used the tape on 5 cars of mine now and its great.
Used the hole typ ultrasonic ones and unless its the pre cut with correct sensors, they look like after market ones. The tap is only bad in rain, thats the false but

I am fitting one to a Jag next week as a favour as he loved it in my old 2005 passat. Like I said, only false alarms are in rain but I lived with it than a damaged rear bumper and it ment I could remove it from one car to another and only change the tape lol

I just bought new tape from them.
Mine is a older modle, not plastic etc but the theroy is the same

They are dead easy! One wire to ground, one wire to reverse light, Run buzzer in cab etc then the tape goes in the bumper and plugs in.
