Rate your coilovers
Be in the market for coilovers soon so gathering info can you tell me....
1) your car model
2) Your brand of coilover
And then rate them.... any problems, ride quality on normal driving etc
Thanks

EXE-TC fast road road set up
cant fault the stainless build quality-no need for anti lift or uprated anti roll bars. If they are good enough for ZEN,RCM,LOEB Then they must be good nuff said
40 different damper settings for that fine track tuning

2007 WRX Wagon
BC Racing BR coilovers with 5/4 springs
Got them in the last group buy at such an awesome price that I couldnt really say no, especially as the standard Hawkeye ones seem to fail alot. Was worried about going for the softer springs as everyone seemed to be going for the stiffer ones. Once fitted all doubts dissapeared, Carnetix set them up for me with a bit of negative camber as I do most of my driving on windy B roads. The ride is stiffer than standard but not crashy at all, certainly wouldnt want it to be any stiffer, cornering though is superb, doesnt skip at all even through some very bumpy corners on my daily commute and grips like s**t to a blanket.

Same - got the BC's on my classic with same spring rate - can I ask what settings have you got the shocks on ?
I have mine on 14 from hard on the front and 15 on the rear -
I would really rate them - only had them a week - thinking on hardening them up a bit though.
8/10

Cusco Zero-2 coilovers
9.5/10 Cant fault them!
They're on the softest setting at the moment and are firm but not as firm as my old car with KYB shocks and springs.
I've had Tein coilovers on a previous car and would not recommend them to anyone, they're way too hard for our roads even on the softest setting.

2005 STi
TEIN Monoflex (£550 ebay second hand, Bargain ) RRP £1500?
Replaced due to Sick of stds rears knocking!
Excellent quality, Better ride height, Handling is vastly improved, only downside is a bit stiffer on soft setting compared to std STi set-up (as expected).
Been on car 2yrs. Only issues being there is no wheather seal over the shaft so requires cleaning and silicon grease applying every 6 months to prevent the seals from creaking!
If needed to buy again quite happy to buy new, and replace with std's to sell car on!
Geniune 10/10!

1) '04 Sti Spec C
2) Apex Gen 2 Coilovers
3) Rating 7/10 - bit noisy for my liking, tend to 'squeak' a bit when 'cold'. Sounds wierd I know but true.
Car handles well enough though but I haven't driven another car with coilovers so don't have anything to compare against, so bit difficult to rate properly.
