Default prodrive vs standard

as above my 04 sti is standard, not the PPP model, but i have the chance of a Prodrive back box for it, is there much differnce in the noise from the prodrive back box or is it not worth me changing, i know some of you will say replace all and de cat but thats just not at option at this moment in time!

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Will be a nice sound improvement over the std one. Go for it.

I run a prodrive back box and I love it. Bassy rumble at idle and at full chat noud but not in your face like some bin lid sized jobbies. Strikes a nice balance and much fruitier that standard.

agree with above but I would also add a deresonated center pipe for about £100 to get the full burble from scoobyparts etc, keeping cats etc.

The only thing that stopped me changing to a prodrive one was losing the STi exhaust tip. Perhaps I could get the STi one repacked
