Default Just fitted HID's to the bug

Hey, just a quick post not sure if anyone else with a bugeye with morrettes had the same problem of poor visibility from the projectors? Just got round to sorting mine tonight after installing a pair of HID's

Such crisp white light!

Tried to take some pics but didnt come out great!

I had a set from bobs for my morrettes. H7. never got round to fitting them. swaped my morrettes for a set of sti jdm units i think.

Got the H7's fitted and they fitted the bloody full beam instead.

need a set of H1's now.

full beam works nice though..

Default hey

hey! i got them from ebay, was from a uk seller, all english instructions, was £68 i think all in. Took about 20-30mins to do, have to take headlights out, simple as pluggin them in tho, mounted the ballast's under the headlights on the front panel.

Gotta adjust my headlight beams 2nite tho, as hid's are alot brighter, the crisp line of light they produce is brilliant!

They are h7 fitment in the dip beam, thats what ive got them in, full beam is H1 i may get a second set for the full beam, but its dip i use most so made sense to start with them!

So just to clarify, bugeye morrettes H7 kit for dip beam.

H1 kit for full beam

I ebayed h7 hid kit and found a set with 4300k bulbs as they are the whitest, as the number goes up the light turns more blue, an less visibilty.

Cheers for comments guys

HID'd my STI lights a year or so ago....

Avoid any over 4300 K for main beam as the blue light scatters in misty/murky conditions.

IMHO

P.S. BOB'5 can supply replacement parts or alternate fitting "globes" at a good price too !
