Default ARRRGH Garage marked my Alloys

Have the pro drive dark grey alloys on my WRX-S took it in yest night on way back to have rear wheels checks as i could feel wobble at 80mph.

Young lad did it and i watched him last thing he did was tighen em the final turn with a torque spanner.

I paid and left, this morning i get up check wheels and arrrrgk 2 marks either side where his spanner must have hit.

SO i steamed back up asked for Manager and we went to look at it,

Young asian lad come over and looked with me and manager, saying not me m8 not me.

I explained i had car 4 week and go over with a fine tooth comb, and challanged him and said ok sherlock how the heck does one scuff them in the centre on both sides ?

anyways Manager said he would repair em

My question is how ? can the dark grey alloys be touched up or they gonna have to have em powdercoated again ?

Basts

blerghh

P.S Wife as wifes do said its only a little mark, but its the principle there marked and it wasnt me so i want em fixing, women i ask ya

Im shocked that there actualy doing anything about it, because most of the garages would just deny it..

How are they going about repairing them anyway?

cant belive if you cared so much for your car that you would take it to kwicfit or hi Q , they are well known as a bunch of bodgers and careless workers imo

Had this done to a set of alloys once when i had my 205 gti, had brand new 17" alloys on 4 days old, took it to a garage for a new clutch , picked the car up and it had big black handprints on it so went straight home to wash it then saw one of my new alloys was curbed all the way around. Went straight back down and they said it wasnt them which annoyed me as i knew it was but couldnt prove it, To cut a long story i lost my temper and ended up getting banned from the garage, not that that was a big loss, wouldnt take a wheel barrow there again.
Hope you get it sorted anyway mate

Must agree

My local Bush's look after my wheels and tyres

Wouldn't let KF or HQ put air in my tyres, saying that my local KF was offering to inflate tyres with nitrogen for £1 a tyre last month

Sorry but +1 Find a recommended garage in your area used by people that are fussy about who touches their wheels

Kwik fit buggered my alloys up too! i had a mondeo st tdci on an 06 plate with the 18" diamond cut alloys which had all been replaced for new because some toe rag had pinched the old ones. they had been on the car 2 weeks and were new as they come, i had damaged my tire into the kerb which liuckily didnt damage the alloy,..but to my disbelief watching the young apprentice at work, he took the wheel off and just dropped it face down onto its face which is diamond cut and scratched all the face and the edging of the rim i could of cried,...i made them buy me a brand new alloy direct from ford and order it there and then over the phone in front of me. they had one in stock at £272 and i picked it up from the dealer after kwik fit payed the bill. i guess it would have come out of the apprentices pay packet..............A company i do know of which is excellent at wheel refurb and collect and deliver is a company called PRISTINE. Good luck and i hope you get sorted.
