MY00 heads on a MY98 shotblock??
I am going to buy a MY98 closed deck shortblock for wich i want to use my MY00 heads. Somebody i know says this wont fit, and the seller says it is no problem to combine these.
The issue would be that MY98 heads are slightly bigger and thus the volume would be bigger and the compressions lower. Can somebody confirm this?

I got a reply from a dutch engine builder saying that the MY98 heads are 1 to 1.5 CC smaller and piston squish shape is different. And the bowlshape of the pistons is bigger for a MY98. Also the thickness of the gaskets is different.
