Seeking help: mounting WRC (overhanging) wing

I have the carbon fiber WRC wing for my 02 WRX (USA) from Forge Motorsport. The overhanging, box-type one. The mounting holes are not in the OEM spoiler locations. Would anyone who has had one of these spoilers installed please share lessons learned? I will have my body shop do the mounting, but since it came with no template, I would like to anticipate any problems.
