WHAT STEERING LOCK???
#2
Without doubt.. The best steering lock is the Disklok. I have one.. and when someone tried to remove one froma friends car, we had to get the fire brigade to cut it of with their "Jaws of Life", even they said it was damn strong

It's not a steering lock, but have you looked at the Barrier Deadlock? It's a mechanism that locks the car in reverse gear.
It's professionally installed, and the only evidence of it is a button in the passenger footwell (and stickers if you want them) - much less intrusive and cumbersome than any steering lock. When you park the car, just stick it in reverse and push the button in. The button unlocks with a key, or you can put the car up on a ramp and grind the mechanism away from underneath with an angle grinder...
It's about £150 fitted - if you're interested I'll dig out the details of the manufacturer.
Andy.
