Default searching for a low mile classic - do they exist?

As per thread title really

looking for a genuine, low milage classic that is spot on in all respects - does such a car exist

Been sniffing around a few but alas the usual rubbish

Ideally looking for a wagon but would consider saloon - anyone any ideas where to look other than AT or PH?

Many thanks

Matt

Define low mileage? Average mileage to most is 10,000 to 12,000 per year.

You may be able to find rarer models such as the P1 with low miles.

thanks for the link - very genuine looking indeed!

As for low milage then for a classic i guess <60k with fsh and low owenr count.

Not really fussed re import or UK tbh

Got a gb270 wagon but i want a classic for everyday smoking around in - not necessarily a concours or rare model, just something genuine that has been cherished and somthing i can use without having my hand in my pocket all the time fixing bodge after bodge or undoing aftermarket tuning hash ups. Dont mind something sensibly modded or PPP though.

the red one looks like a genuine model, but without wanting to sound like a girl - the colour is not for me really

thanks again for the input though

Matt

Cool

2000 UK Turbo, (saloon), just under 48k miles, owned for the last 8 years, full Subaru history, all bills, service receipts, std except 17" alloys, MINT condition.
Am I selling? not unless I can get it's value to me (£5500 min), even then I'd struggle to part with it, as I know I'd miss it and would have to buy another !!...

My old MY00 Sonic blue import with 45k sold earlier this year, FSSH, PPP, A/C, uprated brakes, uprated wheels (though I originally had 17 inch PD7's on there), none smokers car (for both me and the 2nd owner), went for slightly under 5k, and it was more desireable than a standard one due to the PPP and A/C (3k's worth of options).
Even my MY99 30k mile STI V5 type R only cost me 5k so 5500 is quite unrealistic tbh, but good luck if you want to try to sell it at that price if your tempted

Low mileage isn't the be all. I have had trouble with older low mileage cars than regularly used high milers. Interiors are easily updated and replaced, also converted imports to MPH could easily be clocked. Actually that's true of most classics tbh.

Had mine form new with no silly mods just exhaust , filter and alloys with factory leather interior on my MY00 with barely 85K on the clock and runs perfectly , never broken down only remedial work was new clutch a year ago and a new maf sensor a few years back.

Not sure I'd know what to replace it with so unlikely to sell unless

I know of one, been in the country since 2002 iirc and never registered as yet, still sat in a garage, its just started occasionally very occasionally. silver gc8 wagon with super low mileage and as the owner states every chance he gets, it will be the mintest low mileage impreza on the road (if he ever does anything with it) GC8 who posts on here owns it, wether he would sell it is another matter. would you sell it simon?

SVA Imports seem to have some nice low mileage cars...

You'll have to do the Km/miles conversion yourself though!
