I know clutch judder has been a problem on these cars, and I think some have been afflicted by a problem whereby if you hold revs then floor it nothing happens. I can't remember specific threads on this, maybe a search will help or someone can point you in the right direction.
Happy hunting!

Clutch judder is a problem on all scoob models...apparantly the P1 clutch housing cures this (although I dont know for certain).
Something to watch out for on MY00's is cracking brake discs (not sure whether this affects MY99's as this is when they got the bigger disks (over here anyway)).
Other than that I dont know any other probs.

Juddery clutch sometimes. No other probs.
You can tell MY00 from MY99 because the wheels are different and the wing mirrors and door handles are colour coded on the MY00. (But the sills aren't on either). The MY00 also has variable speed intermittent wash wipe.
So there.

BarryK: and don't forget the different locking inertia seatbelts in the back for child seats
Clutch, cracked discs seem the norm. Of course, look for service history to ensure that the oil has been changed at the right times!
