Default Can you clean or refresh a bailey dump valve

I have one fitted to my car, was fitted before i bought it and it looks dirty and doesnt actually make much noise, really only in 2nd gear, so will it need cleaning or refreshing someone?? please help as im a girl and you guys love helping us girls who dont know much about technical things, lol

Yep just take it apart and clean it out well with Brake cleaner etc.

To get the best results from your dump valve you will need to wear the correct equipment for cleaning it, i think this should breath some new life into your dump valve.

that wasnt to u sti baly, no getting my other half to do it for me, like most things with the car, he loves it, and if he does it well i sometimes let him drive it, lol

I like gettin gmy hands dirty, i clean her, just not good with taking bits apart but ill be there watching ready for next time, lol

Ok things you must learn are>>>

1. How to check the oil level
2. How to check the water level
3. How to change a wheel in event of emergency and the respective jacking points

A few challenges for a scooby enthusiast i would say....

Well i know how to check oil and water levels. Just dont know how to change a wheel, Im getting there, all in good time. Lol
