im getting a rattle at the center rear of the car only when accelerating hard,if i get there gradual its ok no noise but try and give it some and the ratle appears......any ideas what this could be?

Or possibly the rubber exhaust hanger mounts have worn, causing it to move bit and rattle.

 

hello, im getting the same rattle, does it sound like its coming from just behind the front seats and goes across the car?? if you have any luck finding it let me know, my car is in the garage saturday to have it in the air to see if we can find it.

 

...also if you are cruising about 30 if you stick it into 5th and then accelerate either slowly or fast does it do it??
