Default Front Pad Clunk.

Hi All,

Without enetering a "Which pad is best" poll etc, what would make front pads clunk after braking in reverse then braking moving forward on a 2.5 STI.
Is it just a case of its the pads are rubbish or is there another part that should be changed / checked when doing front pads?

Yeah I know it's ok, just sounds horid. Pads on the car, guessing originals, didn't. Why are after markets pads prone to do it?

I get this too on mine. I know there not original pads, but uprated (can't remember what type, was in when I bought it!). People look at me strange in car parks when I reverse and then brake. Sounds horrid!!

Exactly the same on my car, I got it checked out at AS Performance as I was a bit concerned but apparantly it's nothing to worry about.
