See : http://www3.8200rpm.com/index.php?p=1&t=3&lang=en

First video called "Subaru Impreza GT Turbo-EMS, Nürburgring-Nordschleife, 03-03-2002."

8:20 BTG with an Impreza is quite amazing.

Warning: 70 Mb ...

Enjoy,

Theo

Fantastic. Never seen a video of the Ring. What an amazing track! Most of it looks absolutely brutal! I noticed no one passed you

Cool

Sieze, I agree, vid quality could have been better, but it is still amazing to watch.

John, I wish that were me , my Ring times are measured with calender days

The driver is Mark Verhoeven, also known as EMS on this board.

Edited to say : John, also have a look at http://www.motorcycle-dk.com/en/mult....php?viewCat=1 if you want to see great Ring vids. This is Joerund's (sp?) site, and you as an example can see our own JF in the plastic pig doing a lap against Joerund's R1 bike. Amazing stuff again.

Wink

This one is me in the plastic pig. 8 min 10 seconds BTG. That was in 36 degrees heat and i lost my boost control (wire fell off ) at 3/4 way round so had about 200BHP rather than my usual 330BHP. Would have been sub 8 minutes i think otherwise.

JF, you are the inventor of the new timing system on the Ring ... BTFTSTM*

I'm sure you agree though that 8:20 whilst being held up quite a few times with an Impreza is not bad

Ahh memories, looking forward to May, can't make Easter trip , booked up on other T/Days.

John do you mind if i hook up the Bullet Cam to your car for a lap at Easter ?, I want to make a Ring video with various cars on there.

Thanks

Mind??? Try stopping me. I would really love to get some quality footage from the front of the car, that would be awesome on the ring!

Fire me off a mail and we can suss this out, a good incentive to get over there this easter for sure.

JF I just LOVE that lap with you being followed by the R1. Incredible the cornering speeds the plastic pig was doing

Sticky tyres, properly balanced chasis, 330BHP, 700Kg and a nutcase behind the wheel works wonders.

Thanks John, The ring is an awesome place and very addictive.
