Default fitting downpipe, gaskets needed ?

i recently bought a de-cat downpipe and brand new 2nd de-cat pipe, the new piece came with a thick gasket, im guessin this is to go between the downpipe and the 2nd de-cat pipe and not the 2nd de-cat pipe and the centre section ?

also should i buy a new gasket fot the downpipe where it meets the turbo, or will the old one be ok ?

plus, i also got a brand new de-cat up-pipe, this also came with a new gasket, im guessing this is to go between it and the turbo, or is it to go between it and the manifold ?

any help appreciated

cheers nick

the gasket that goes between the second decat and the centre section is a tapered donut shape made out of a soft material and the gasket that goes between the the down pipe and the decat pipe is a thin meatal gasket.

I would get a new gasket to go between the turbo and the down pipe even if the old one is ok you will need one eventually as every mot time you will be refiiting the original pipe back on.

the up pipe need two gaskets one oval shaped one with two bolt holes that connects to the headers and one odd shaped one with three bolt holes to go between the turbo and up pipe.

heres guide to the up pipe fitting.

I am asuming you have a new age.
hope this helps
