Default Which plugs to use for re-map ? help needed ??

im after getting my car mapped soon, its a my04 wrx.

i already have all the exhaust pieces, fuel pump, filter ect. but ive been told to get best results i am best off getting some different plugs, but which ?

can anyone help me please ?

best to ask your mapper but most would say NGK pfrb7

As above NGK PFR7B, got them in my 05 wrx, working fine at 311bhp.
cheapest place ive found:
NGK spark plug PFR7B (plugs) PFR7-B trade price 4853 on eBay (end time 28-Oct-09 13:35:26 GMT)

on the ngk website it says pfr6b ? whats the diff ?

The 6 is fitted to std engines and it is advised to run a "cooler" plug when dialing in more boost & power so that the fuel/air mix is burned correctly & the plug does not overheat.

The higher the number the cooler the plug will run... So with the sort of mods you have, a set of 7's would be ideal.

As you push the envelope & move further into race spec engines you would find that an 8 or 9 would be needed, but this would be a liability on a road engine as they are prone to fouling & misfiring (possibly not even producing a spark at all), unless constantly run at high combustion temperatures & boost.
