Default 4inch or 5inch tail pipe

Hi

Im goin to order a cobra sports exhaust system tommorow but cant decide which size tail pipe i want, i thinking 5inch might be to big but dont want to be dissapointed if i go for the 4inch, i like the look of the blitz nurspec just not the price, can anybody tell me the size of the blitz tail pipe?, also what size tail pipe do the majority have?

Thanks

I'm sorry, but that just looks ridiculous

Any small dogs or cats hiding in there?

I've got the 5" tail on my system, and think its too big. I had a Blitz Nur spec system in the garage with a decat down pipe so fitted it yesterday and removed the cobra system...........wish i didn't! The full cobra system with sports cat downpipe and 3" pipework sounded better and gave more power. I'm gonna fit the cobra system back on on saturday and just change the tailpipe to a 4" slash cut upwards and outwards.

Will have full Blitz Nur spec system and decat downpipe for sale next week, and then a 5" cobra tailpipe shortly after

Got a 4" tail pipe on mine and I think it's the perfect size really. If anything still a tad too big (for my liking).

Bringing up an old post but, Tristan did you get the 4" slash cut fitted to your Bug?

Iam looking for the same rear box at the minute and i would like to see pics of it on your bug eye.

Hi metz

I did get the cobra sports exhaust fitted, unfortunatly its a type r i have not a bug eye, but il take some pictures just so you can get the general gist of how it looks, i went for the 4 inch slash cut and its just right any bigger would look silly, the exhaust fitted like a dream, and was hight quality, one thing to beaware of is the pipe tapers to 2.5inch at the flange where it meets the down pipe and i never noticed this until api fitted me a 3inch down pipe which also had to taper at the end to fit.

Thanks Tristan
