Help needed, got a 02 bugeyed cracked block with other faults. Going to get an recon block, can any one suggest a good company for the best money was looking around and have seen some for £1400 but i'm not sure.

Whatever you do DON'T buy one from UK-Parts based in the Midlands, they sell on ebay and claim all parts fitted are new.

I have had a nightmare with one I purchased, avoid like the plague !

i have an V8 engine from a 03 blob
the cam drive wheels and intake have been removed
the turbo is still there
this was a very good 35000 mile engine from a UK car when removed for a big power 2.5 with a rotated set up,
Paul at Zen saw it running and removed it
since then its been shrink wrapped on a pallet
its in wickford Essex ask paul about it
then make a sensible offer not looking for silly money just a realistic price
say £1000 or somewhere near

Looking for a total strip and rebuild, as it is for my brother in law's car.After some gurantee just like some companies do parts etc
