how u remove that mate. mine looks as if its part of the chassis. took the towbar bar piece off but left with 4 big holes that can be seen

seddomyster: big holes seen where????

the rear mounts were bolted through the boot floor and the front mounts (closest to the rear of the car) were bolted through the chassis rail to the rear bumper bars.

^^^ 1 of those welds on the bumper bar came off and I had to junior hacksaw the bolt off, took me ages.

hack saw lol. it looks thick steel. looks to be part of the chassis on mine. if i remove it i wont have all the chassis rear bar so hack saw it is or a grinder
