bugeye alarm making funny noises

Default bugeye alarm making funny noises

hi my alarm is making funny noises wether on and off annoying the neighbours and me ive looked at how tu get the black overtray off any ideas i have been told dodgey siren or battery pack on it is getting low hence noise how do i remove undertray and can i just disconnect siren regards nick

mine started to play up the last few days too. i felt like a coppa driving round with a siren

Wipers off, rubber bonnet seal off, pull plastic off and it's tucked down the scuttle...

Around £60 IIRC

Just had my bugeye alarm replaced with a nice Cobra one. The standard alarm is the biggest pile of **** ever.

thanx guys will try that tommorow dont have a problem in summer think its the drop in temperature lol dunx where do i purchase another one and are they easy too refit cheers

I got mine from my tame mechanic, via a Subaru dealer.

P.S. The wiring has changed slightly, and I soldered it all back together myself. Cheapskate !

if you disconnect it you will have to bypass the immobiliser as that will remain active.
