does the standard bugeye front have a black plastic type grill in the gap below where the number plate goes, hiding the bottom of radiator?

i think someone has nicked mine unless ive just never noticed that there isnt one.

anyone got a pic of the front end that isnt too dark to see

no plastic grill or bar etc..ive never noticed nothing there before and it stood out as soon as i look at my car

black bit off plastic under number plate each side then a black casing what runs round the inside off bottom off bumper

can you see the bottom of your radiator at the back if you look in from below the plate..

is there nothing infront of it like a grill. theres even little slots on mine which look like it was there before

you can see bottom off radiator but there should be a black middle piece in the bottom off bumper and a black casing what goes around the inner

No grill on my JDM WRX - just the plastic surround and centre support thingy - get a Zun sport one if you miss it - I think I will one day...

Sorry, I should have been a bit clearer: the STI has a lower grille, the WRX does not. With the WRX there's just a big hole under the numberplate. This is the best photo I have of my old WRX where you can actually see the area:



Ignore the top bit where I've removed the grille: the bit under the plate has not been touched, and you can see there's no grille. I don't have an equivalent pic for the STI as that area is always in shadow, but the STI has a grille on the gap under the plate, behind that vertical bar you can just make out in the middle.

thanks meridian...guess there was no grill there after all..ive just never noticed that i could see my radiator in the gap..i always thought there was a black plastic grill hiding it.. must be going mad lol

nope, definately no grill cover under there mate. should be though, i had to pull a bird out the bottom of the rad a few weeks ago
