STI envy, help
I don'y know what is wrong with me, I have an 07 Hawk WRX. I love it, its great, it is a perfect commuter car. Lazy torque, 5 speed relaxing gearbox, supple suspension. As I said perfect commuter car.
Why didn't I buy an STI??
The worst thing is I already have an STI, an 08. I just have this feeling it is not a real one, as it is not blue with gold wheels.
I know that as a commuter, an STI would be mad, hard suspension, constant gear changes, heavy clutch.
Somehow though, just wished I had listened to my inner 10 year old and bought an STI instead.
Oh well, nice problem to have in the grand scheme of things.
Going to get the STi fitted with the Litchfield Whitline suspension upgrade, hopefully it will sharpen the girl up a bit. Love the 08 just a little rolly polly in the corners

My STI V8 has the Litchfield AST 3 way and whiteline kit, poly bushings and geometry rejigged.
Masssive improvement to the understeer and roll but it is harsh.
I must admit after having it for 4 years it is getting tiring.
On smooth roads it is brill but Aberdeen roads are S***E and with the amount of speed bumps it is taking the fun out of it. Well in town it is but on the B roads it's still a blast.
Hardly drive the car (30k since new - 04) 15K in 3 1/2 years since I bought it.
Always loved the scoobs cus Colin drove one and the sound, funny thing is also liked the Evo but found it too harsh then went for a scooby and made it harsh.
Want a new one but not the hatch, they need to get this coupe for sale soon!

I know, an embarrassment of riches. My wife drives the 08 STi for the school run and all other mumsy things during the week while I drive the WRX. I think I am going to stay away from coil over litchfield or not, and just go for the bushes, ARB's anti lift bits that are fitted to the current type 20.
However after the mess I almost made of installing mud flaps, I think I will leave the upgrades to the experts!!!!!
